Paros in the Morning And Syros in the Evening- Onto Athens

Onto Paros we must go and rent another bike to ride to Parikea, the quaint port town where tourists such as us dare ride through its Baroque-lined-streets. Honestly it was a wrong turn and of all people whom do we ride straight into but our own group and their Tour Guide who was relieved when we asked the way out.

A quick stop to Pounda beach where the 2005 Kitesurfing champs were held to meet George ( in case we ever come back ) and back onboard we set sail to Syros.

Syros is our host for the evening and night. It is the Capital of Cyclades Islands and an island not dependent on tourists. Its very similar to Rome. I go for a run up to the top Cathedral and we meet to stroll around before heading back on board for the Captains Farewell Dinner ( and David's Surprise B-day too)

In the morning we leave via Sounion to finish at the start, s- Marina Zea where we catchup on some sightseeing.....but that's for tomorrows blog.
